Dockers partners with Futures Without Violence to promote RESPECT!

The Dockers® brand is teaming up with the RESPECT! Campaign, an initiative of Futures Without Violence, formerly Family Violence Prevention Fund, to support violence prevention and promote healthy relationships. During the "Month of Respect," Mother's Day (May 8, 2011) to Father's Day (June 19, 2011), Dockers® in partnership with the RESPECT! Campaign, is working to shed light on and bring an end to the widespread problem of relationship abuse.

As you create your card, be sure to select Futures Without Violence as your charity of choice and when you do, Macy's will donate $5, up to a total of $400,000, in support of our work to end child abuse, teen dating violence, and domestic/sexual violence! Domestic Violence Awareness Month Fundraiser

Again this year, Macy's and the Family Violence Prevention Fund
(FVPF) are offering violence prevention programs a unique fundraising
tool to use during Domestic Violence Awareness Month this fall - Shop for A Cause savings passes at Macy's!
For the past several years, the FVPF has partnered with Macy's to raise
awareness and involve employees and customers in efforts to prevent
violence against women and children. Together, we are offering interested programs free
tickets for Shop for a Cause, a one-day shopping event at Macy's stores across the country. Tickets are sold for $5 each, and programs keep all the proceeds.
Shop for a Cause Day will be Saturday, October 16th, 2010. Shop for a Cause tickets provide deep discounts on items throughout Macy's on that day only.

Ne-Yo Releases New Song to Promote Healthy Relationships

Multi-platinum recording artist Ne-Yo, who is currently the face of popular Macy's menswear brand Alfani, has penned a new song promoting positive, healthy relationships to benefit the RESPECT! Campaign. In between recording songs for his next album to be released in August, the R&B crooner wrote Heroes - a strong ballad with a poignant message about everyday heroes that shape lives in goodness and in turn help build a world that is free of relationship violence. Heroes will be available for download on February 2nd (through March 31, 2010) exclusively on www.macys.com/ne-yo. For each download, Alfani will donate $1 to the RESPECT! Campaign, up to $50,000.
